Our History in Pictures

St. George Greek Orthodox Church was established in 1917. These photos represent a few moments in St. George's rich history. 

Site of the Original Greek Orthodox Church (Pictured above), members purchased a building on the corner of Peabody and Hope Streets in 1924, which was remodeled and used as the house of worship for several years.

In the two pictures above the preceding picture was taken of the members of the Sons of Pericles a junior organization of AHEPA active in many community affairs circa 1939, the picture proceeding was taken on the celebration of Greek Independence day at the steps of St. George circa 1940's.
